"B-17's
Over Berlin, Personal Stories from the 95th Bomb Group [H]" Edited
by Ian L. Hawkins
This book is not a novel, but contains the personal recollections of many of the brave men that flew combat missions over Europe. It is a fine book that can be read and savored in small doses, although I found it hard to put down. The book also contains many fascinating pictures that I found myself returning to view over and over. This is the story of the determined young men that faced incredible danger but continued to go into the air in harm's way.
