American Revolutionary War - Fiction

"Lords of the Ocean" By James L. Nelson

The hero, Isaac Biddlecomb, in the summer of 1776 saves George Washington's army, which has been trapped on Long Island by the British Army and Navy. He then sets sail on the Continental Brig of war Charlemagne with Ben Franklin for France. Once there, he and his crew go marauding amongst the British Isles.

This book contains lots of great fun and action. It is packed with sailing lessons and close combat. This is a great read, as were the previous three novels of this series. I can hardly wait for the next one. I actually paid full ticked for the hardbound 1st edition. Enough said?
