Company L, 34th FIST (Fleet Initial Strike Team) is back, but this time they are called to the planet Wanderjahr, where insurgents are sabotaging, murdering, and threatening the planetary government. Unfortunately, some of the planet's leaders are behind the problems. Sgt Charlie Bass and Lance Corporals Dean, Claypool, and Hammer Schultz are back with more new characters. Their job is to train the local militia how to fight insurgents and put an end to the constant turmoil.
These books
have great characters and a lot of action. The weapons and tactics
are well thought out and the scenarios and bad guys make for great
reading. The authors are combat veteran NCOs from Viet Nam, Sherman
a Marine, and Cragg a Soldier. You can tell from the feel of these
books that they draw from personal experience.
