Earth has encountered global warming in the near future and many parts of the world are hit by disaster and famine, especially the Middle East. The Arabic National Army (ANA) invades Europe and the Ukraine to gain arable land and food stores. During the struggle strange blue lights appear and drain the life from critically wounded soldiers. Are these mercy killings or mere acts of curiosity by strange entities? What are these lights that exhibit intelligence? This book is unusual and an interesting read. It is well written with interesting characters on both sides of the warring factions. A lot of research went into this book as the weapons and high technology gadgets are well explained.
