"Trial" by Clifford Irving

Courtroom drama at its best. Texas attorney Warren Blackburn has seen his career go down the tubes for a little white lie he told to get a client off. Now he has a chance for a big comeback in two murder trials. The sensational trial is a self-defense plea of a woman that owns a topless bar that killed her lover. This woman is a real piece of work, and people that get on her wrong side have a tendency to disappear or turn up dead. The other trial is for an illegal alien being tried before a hostile judge. While all this is going on, Warren's personal life is in the dumps. His two clients are linked but he is prevented from revealing what he knows. Can Warren do what is right? Come along for the ride.
