This book is laugh-out-loud funny. It has every thing! Sex, murder, intrigue - you name it. A screw-up pilot is fired from his job as a corporate jet jockey (you have to read the book to find out why) and gets a job in Micronesia flying for missionaries. But the missionaries are not what they seem. What we have here are: cargo cults, cannibals, WWII ghosts, body organs for sale, transvestites, ninjas, and a sex goddess to-die-for. And, a most interesting talking fruit bat from Guam. Put it all together and what have you got? Don't ask me, but I enjoyed the hell out of it.
I just picked up copies of Moore's other two books: "Coyote Blue" and "Bloodsucking Fiends". I can hardly wait to dig in. (No, I am not sick! Moore writes with panache).
