Napoleonic Wars - Fiction

"Sharpe's Trafalgar" By Bernard Cornwell

The year is 1805, and Ensign Sharpe heads home to join the 95th Rifles on board the East Indiaman Calliope. While in the Indian Ocean, the returning convoy is raided by the French 74 Rejenant, where Sharpe plays a key role in foiling the French. It seems one of the passengers is not who he claims to be and the convoy has been betrayed. After the French are driven away, Sharpe boards the Purcelle of  74 guns, under the command of recent new friend, Captain Joel Chase. The Purcelle conveniently arrives just in time for the Battle of Trafalgar, where Sharpe steps in to take over for the fallen Marine commander where he is in the forefront of the battle.

This is another fine book in the Richard Sharpe series not to be missed.
