NAPOLEONIC WARS

"The Complete Brigadier Gerard" by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle

I knew Sir Arthur Conan Doyle was a great writer of mystery fiction, but I did not know he wrote military as well as comedy fiction. Well, fasten your seat belts and read this hilarious collection of short stories. I laughed for days after reading this book. Brigadier Gerard is a Calvary officer in Napoleon's army who knows no fear and performs amazing feats of bravery. He is also one of the dumbest characters, without a clue to his immense arrogance and conceit, that you will ever run across. This book is a riot and not to be missed.
