General Military Fiction

"The Return of Philo T. McGiffin" by David Poyer

This is a truly funny novel (and at times has no respect for great institutions) written by a great writer of naval fiction. Visit the US Naval Academy and all the good and bad that make it what it is. This book is a great read for everyone and I highly recommend anything by the author.

When an innocent young man from the Midwest shows up at the Academy and just happens to have the same name (almost) as the schools legendary all-time greatest prankster, things go steadily down hill. Learn how young Philo copes all the pressure, stress as well as his required duties, and wins his way through to victory.
