"The Sorcerer: Metamorphosis" by Charles Whyte

Book 6 in the Camulod Chronicles

In this the 6th installment of the tale of King Arthur, Arthur finally comes to power. There is a fair amount of action, and the main character, Merlyn, finally turns from warrior and commander to Merlyn the sorcerer. This tale has no magic, and the whole premise is believable reality. I am hooked on this series and will read them all, but I wish Whyte would get on with it. At the current rate he will rival Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time epic.
